2009 was a year of journey, self discovery, dreams, ambitions and challenges.  Each of those brought me closer to truly understanding my life, my purpose, and what I choose to give to the world.  Three years ago, I was given the opportunity to explore the art of floral design.  Through this opportunity, I was handed the gift of truly identifying my passion when I had looked and longed for it so much.  Every second spent working with the flowers was spent in true abundance and joy.

Since founding The Crimson Petal, I have identified and set out to accomplish my dreams.  As a former stay at home mom of three young boys, it was easy to forget that I had dreams that existed.  When I gave myself the permission to explore what was in my heart, I discovered a longing to be able to create immense joy and pleasure through my work with flowers.  With the support of my loving husband, amazing children, and encouraging friends this has become the dream I want to share with the world; the dream that exists in the true pleasure of giving the gift of beauty to another person.

The intention of the Crimson Petal is quite simple.  To match the feelings a customer wishes to create with the perfect floral choice for them – to create a harmonious blend between the event and people involved and to treat all customers in a personal space, with respect and the utmost professionalism.
